Mosby & Jas. Dadget are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the penal sum of One Thousand Dollars current money, to the payment of which well and truly to be made to the Commonwealth, we bind ourselves, our heirs, &c. jointly and severally, firmly by these presents; sealed with our seals, and dated this 6th day of Augt. 1828 The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound Tho Reed chosen and appointed Guardian to Preston B. Reed orphan of Tho. Reed Decd. by the county court of Mercer county. If, therefore, the said Tho Reed shall diligently and faithfully collect, account for, and pay to said Orphan all the estate which he now has or may hereafter be entitled to, during his minority, or to such other person or persons as shall be entitled to receive the same, and shall regularly make up an account in his Guardianship at such time as he shall be thereto required by law, or by the said court, and shall in all particulars faithfully discharge his office as Guardian. Then this obligation to be void, or else to remain in full force and virtue. Executed in presence of the court.
