Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings Stanley Edwin Rice, age 63 , a resident of the Whispering Oaks neighborhood in Leitchfield,KY passed away Thursday, 3-27-2008 at his home. He was born on 12-5-
1944 in Hawesville,KY, to the late Raymond and Vivian Powers Rice.
As a very young man, he served his country in  Vietnam for two years. Stanley was a lifelong member of Mt. Eden Baptist Church in Hawesville,KY.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister - Lynda Rice Ragland and his brother - Donald Ray Rice
 
Stanley is survived by 2 sisters - Betty Rice Wimmer of Hawesville,KY and Jeanetta Rice Jackson of Frostproof,FL
1 brother - Larry Wayne Rice of Leitchfield,KY a beloved aunt - Lois Whitten of Hawesville,KY several nieces and nephews
 
Stan will be missed by his family and friends
 
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 3-29-2008 at 10AM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg,KY with Bro. Joe Daniels officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Eden Cemetery in Hawesville,KY. Visitation on Friday from 3:30 - 8:00PM and after 8:30AM Saturday.
