Breckinridge County Herald - News, Hardinsburg, Ky; 
issue dated, Wednesday, February 24, 1999 
Deward Richards, age 79, of Hardinsburg, died Wednesday, February 17, 1999, at 
Breckinridge Memorial Hospital (Hardinsburg).  Mr. Richards was born in Breckinridge 
County, was a farmer, a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church, and was an Army 
Veteran of World War II.  Surviving are:
two brothers:
Herbert Richards of Hardinsburg
Lamar "Pete" Richards of Hardinsburg
four sisters:
Noreen Richards of Hardinsburg
Opal Robbins of Hardinsburg
Gladys Smith of Hardinsburg
Helen Sansota of Hardinsburg
Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 19, at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home, Hardinsburg,
 with burial in the New Bethel Cemetery.
