Breckinridge County Herald - News, Hardinsburg, Ky; 
issue dated, Wednesday, April 9, 1981 Mrs. Mayme Richards, 85, of Rt. 2, 
Hardinsburg, died at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, March
29 (1981) at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital (Hardinsburg) following a 
short illness.  Born August 27, 1895 in Hancock County, she was the 
daughter of the late Jackson Rogers and Eleanor Mason Rogers.  The widow 
of Floyd Richards, she was a homemaker and a member of the New Bethel Baptist 
Church.  Survivors
include:
four daughters:
Miss Norene Richards of Hardinsburg
Mrs. Opal Robbins of Hardinsburg
Mrs. Helen Sansota of Hardinsburg
Mrs. Gladys Smith of Hardinsburg
four sons:
Deward Richards of Hardinsburg
William Richards of Hardinsburg
Lamar (Pete) Richards of Hardinsburg
Herbert Richards of Louisville
one sister:
Mrs. Mabel Richards of Hardinsburg
7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, at the New Bethel Baptist 
Church with her pastor, the Rev. Ron McClund, officiating.  Burial was in 
the church cemetery with the Harry L. Dhonau Funeral Home, Cloverport, in charge.
