He was born January 10, 1948 in Breckinridge County, a son of the late William Jackson Richards. He was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dewayne Richards and a brother, Don Richards. Mr. Richards is survived by: his wife: Phyllis Richards of Hardinsburg a daughter and son-in-law: Shawntan "Shawn" and Shaun Carwile of Hardinsburg a son and daughter-in-law: Rodney and Deonne Richards of Ekron his mother: Lillie Richards of Hardinsburg a sister: Debbie Lucas of Hardinsburg two brothers: Kenny Richards of Hardinsburg Dale Richards of Kingswood four grandchildren: Michael Finley Christopher Caringer Alisha Duncan Candace Weedman two step-granddaughters: Amber and Deena Hope a great-grandson: Skyler Duncan Visitation will be held Thursday, May 6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Friday until service time. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 7, at Trent- Dowell Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Dooley officiating.
