Breckinridge County Herald - News, Hardinsburg, Ky; 
issue dated, Wednesday, January 15, 1997 
William Jackson Richards, 74, of Hardinsburg, died Friday, January 10, 1997, at 
Breckinridge Memorial Hospital (Hardinsburg).  Born February 2, 1922 in Ohio County, 
he was the son of the late Floyd and Mammie Rogers Richards.  He was a retired truck 
driver and a member of Hardinsburg Baptist Church and Hardinsburg Masonic Lodge # 67.  
He was preceded in death by a daughter Donna and a son Don.  Surviving is:

Dale Richards of Kingswood
Phil Richards of Hardinsburg
Kenny Richards of Hardinsburg

Glayds Smith of Hardinsburg
Helen SanSota of Hardinsburg

Deward Richards of Hardinsburg
Herb Richards of Hardinsburg
Lamar (Pete) Richards of Hardinsburg
8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren Masonic services were held Sunday at 7 p.m.  
The funeral was held Monday, January 12, at the Hardinsburg Baptist Church with the Rev. 
Harry Dooley officiating.  Burial was in New Bethel Cemetery.  Trent-Dowell Funeral Home 
was in charge of arrangements.
