Witnesseth that the said Thomas Lee and Mary his wife for and in consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Current money of kentucky to them in hand and the Receipt where of they do hereby Acknowledge and themselves these with to _____ _____ and paid hath granted bargained Sold ____ Released ____ and confirmed and by these Presents do _____ grant bargain and Sell _____ release ____and confirm unto the aforesaid Philomon Dorsey Ridgely his heirs and assigns forever a Certain Trace Division or parcel of land Containing by Survey fifth acres situate lying and being in Madison County on the Waters of Silver Creek and is bounded as follows. To wit, Beginning at a white Walnut and Lin Corner to ____ Hainz in George Smith’s line from thence North twenty Degrees _____ in the said Hainz line to a large Beech tree in the bank on Taylor’s fork from thence down Taylor’s fork with its Meanders to a Hickory and Sugartree corner in ______ line on the Bank of Taylor’s fork with the said ______ line South twenty degrees West to the Sugartree Sapplings in the aforesaid Smith’s line and with his line to the Beginning together with all and Singular the Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining . To have and to hold to him the Said Philomon Dorsey Ridgley his heirs and assigns forever be the said fifty acres of land more or less and the said Thomas Lee and Mary his wife for themselves and their heirs do and shall and will warrant and by these Presents forever Defend the Title of the aforesaid fifty acres land and Promises against the Claim of all and every Person or Persons whatsoever that shall or may hereafter Claim the _____ unto the said Philomon Dorsey Ridgely his heirs and assigns forever.
