Memorial Service Is Jan. 2 For Elizabeth T. Riggs, 85

A memorial service for Elizabeth Terzah "Terry" Riggs, 85, of Madisonville was 
held Sunday afternoon, Jan. 2, at Richland Missionary Baptist Church.  Glenn 
Funeral Home at Owensboro was in charge of the arrangements. 

Mrs. Riggs died Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Brighton Cornerstone Health Care. She 
was born March 2, 1919, in Kenton, Ohio, daughter of the late Hubert Samuel 
and Elizabeth Jane Griffith Adams.  

Mrs. Riggs was a retired school teacher at Outwood State Hospital.  

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Henry Douglas 
Riggs, and two brothers, Samuel Griffith Adams and Levi David Adams. 

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Kaye Riggs Johnston, Madisonville; two 
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  Memorial contributions may be
