Frank Bertram Rippetoe, 62, of Edgewater, Fla., formerly of Danville, 
died Thursday at Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.

Born Oct. 10, 1939, in Lexington, he was the son of the late Frank H. 
and Maye Bertram Rippetoe. 

He was the widower of Phyllis Weissinger Rippetoe. 

He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of American Legion 
Post 17 of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and the Federal Law Enforcement 
Officers Association, and a 1963 graduate of the University of Kentucky.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Shawn Goodlett of Houston, Texas; 
and a brother, Henry N. "Hank" Rippetoe of Tampa, Fla.

Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Bellevue Cemetery.

Visitation is 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
