Died: Tuesday, 8 Feb 2005, residence, age 73 Member South Green Street Church 
of Christ in Glasgow
Born: On a farm near Temple Hill KY, 28 Jan 1932 Son of the late Glenn Denham 
and Berchie Reid Ritter Baptized in the Nobob Creek under the illumination of 
car headlights after a revival meeting in 1948. Graduated Temple Hill High 
School in 1950 where he played center on the twice-district championship six- man football team. Served in the U S Air Force during the Korean Conflict in Fukuoka, Japan. In 
1958, eloped with the former Dottie Nunn of Three Springs KY and they began 
their family near Temple HIll. Became a rural mail carrier in Summer Shade in 
1963. Charter member of the Md-Kentucky Antique Car Club, enjoyed antique cars. 
He collected and restored antiques for over 35 years. He retired from the U S 
Postal Service after 30 years service.
Survivors:
Wife of 46 years: Donnie Nunn Riter
Two sons: Tim and wife Sheila Guthrie Ritter of Alvaton KY and Anthony Lynn 
Ritter of Chicago IL Two grandchildren: Shana Ann Ritter and Brian Guthrie 
Ritter of Alvaton
Brother: Robert C Ritter
Two cousins and several niece and nephews.
Services: Friday, 11 Feb 2005, 1 pm, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial 
Union #2 Cemetery near Nobob KY.
