SOURCE: Springfield News-Sun, Friday, October 21, 2005~Springfield, Ohio ROBERTS, Bessie 89, of Springfield, died Tuesday October 18, 2005 in Mercy St. John's Center.  
She was born October 16, 1919 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, the daughter of 
Dorsie and Amanda (Collinsworth) Keeton.  She was a member of Central United 
Methodist Church.  She grew up at the JR Order Home in Tiffin, Ohio.  Bessie 
worked many years in the medical field in Springfield.  She started with the TB 
sanitarium at Community Hospital and retiring from Mercy Hospital in 1980.  
Bessie was loved by many friends and  family.  She lived at the Wittenberg 
Campus area for many years.  You could see her out walking with her pets.  
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James W. and Sharon Schuyler of 
Dayton; three sisters, Alma Wicker of Pitchin, Alta Taulbee of Fairborn, and 
Hazel Montgomery of Enon; two brothers, Russell (Gladys) Miller of Dayton and 
Clayton Miller of Enon; three grandchildren, James R. (Loraine) Schuyler of 
Springfield, Robin (Don) Ludlow of West Chester, Ohio, and Tracy (Patrick) 
Small of Amelia; eight great-grandchildren, Michael, Philip, Nicklas Schuylar; 
Kristina, Kyle and Elliott Ludlow; Sarah and Jennifer Small; many nieces and 
nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Tressie; four 
brothers, Hager, Chalmer, Edward and Norman.  A gathering of family and friends 
will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday October 21, 2005 in the LITTLETON & 
RUE FUNERAL  HOME, where funeral service will follow at 7 p.m.  You may express
