ROBERTS is critically ill, and his death seems but a question of a short time. Mr. ROBERTS is one of Lewisport's oldest citizens. Breckinridge News, Cloverport, Ky., Wednesday, October 11, 1899 Page 1, DEATH -- OF R. G. ROBERTS Lewisport (Hancock County), Ky. October 9 - (Special) Mr. Redmond G. ROBERTS, one of Lewisport's oldest and most highly respected citizens, died last Monday night the 2nd., after an illness of about two weeks. Had Mr. ROBERTS lived one day longer, he would have been 78 years of age, having been born in Daviess County, Ky., October 3, 1821. He leaves his wife, three sons, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. ROBERTS was a member of the Masonic Order. The funeral was conducted under Masonic Rites.
