Mt Sterling Advocate
Mrs Kitty McCoy Rose, 69 of Camargo, widow of Edgar A Rose, dies November 1, 
at the Mary Chiles Hospital. 

A native of Powell County, she was a daughter of the late Dan and Easter 
Briscoe McCoy and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are two sons, Mike Rose of Jeffersonville, and Edgar Rose Jr of 
Xenia, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs Earl Johnson of Jeffersonville; Mrs Don 
Leggett of Mt Sterling; Mrs David Greer of Camargo; a sister, Mrs Zelle 
Schooler of Mt Sterling; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted by Phil Allen Friday afternoon at the Herald and 
Stewart Chapel. Burial was in the Lovely Cemetery. Casket bearers were Beryl 
Combs, Don Leggett, David Greer, Earl Johnson, Ed Schooler and Lester Ginter. 
Honorary bearers were her grandchildren, Doug Leggett, Donna Mollon, Earl 
Cohen Johnson, Todd Johnson, Greg and Shannon Greer, Tony, Lisa, Karen and 
David Rose and Pam Davis.
