MELVIN DONALD "POOCHIE" RUARK
	Melvin Donald "Poochie" Ruard, 75, Uniontown, died Wednesday, 
April 6, at 7:15 am at his residence.
	Mr. Ruark was co-owner of Morganfield Stock Yard and served several 
terms on the Uniontown City Council. He was also a member of the 
Uniontown Baptist Church.
	Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Betty, two daughters, Donna 
Sherlock and Jacki Rurak, both of Knoxville, TN; two sons, Jerry of 
Morganfield, and Mel Ruark of Dallas, TX; one brother, Dorris Rurak of 
Morganfield; five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
	Services were at 10am Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield 
with Rev. Mark Gallaway officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellow Cemetery.

Ruark and Rurak, )
