Walter Rush
Dec. 23, 1913-May 22, 1997

Walter Rush, 83, R.17, Bedford, died at 12:08 a.m. Thursday at Bedford
Regional Medical Center.

Born in Kentucky, he was the son of Jim and Sally (Brock) Rush. He married
Julia Ann Gregory Feb. 26, 1933, and she died May 9, 1990.

He was a retired farmer and of Baptist faith.

Surviving are two sons: Ora Rush of Bedford and Glenn Rush of London, Ky.;
five daughters: Delora Koehlinger and Jean Cox, both of Bedford, Betty
Trowbridge of Mount Washington, Ky., Helen Alexander of Hebron and Mary
Benge of London, Ky.; one sister, Grace Jones of London, Ky.; 25
grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Billy Rush; one sister,
Rose Smith, and one grandson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Day & Carter Mortuary, Bedford, with
Pastor John Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
