HARRODSBURG -- Services for Margaret "Maggie" Russell, 84, of Mooreland
Avenue will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by
Sam Stowe and Hilary Claypool. Burial will be in Deep Creek Baptist Church
Cemetery.

She died Sunday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Feb. 28, 1918, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late
Lee and Stella Lester Tyler. She was a homemaker and child care provider
and a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. She was the widow of John C.
Russell.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Hendren of Harrodsburg; four grand-
children; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John C. Russell Jr. and Thomas
L. Russell, and a daughter, Lynda C. Readnower.

Pallbearers will be Bill Hendren, Dave and Lee Readnower, Brett Chamberlain,
Gene Strickland, Lynn Russell, and Paul Dyke. Honorary pallbearers are
members of her Sunday school class at Deep Creek Baptist Church.
