Avid traveler, very active in community affairs in Glasgow and Barren Co. 
Former secretary to Gov Louie Nunn, boookkeeper at Glasgow Automotive Supply, 
member Glasgow Garden Club, Glasgow Baptist Church, Ladies' Auxiliary of T J 
Samson Community Hospital.
Survivors:
Three nieces: Linda Whittle Hawkins of Jacksonville FL, Debbie Whittle Emerson 
of Elizabethtown and Sarah Whittle Edmonson of Miamisburg, OH
Two nephews: Orville Whittle of Leitchfield KY and Donnie Whittle of Smiths 
Grove KY
Two step-children: Kitty Miller and Rusty Rutledge, both of CA
12 great-nieces and nephews
Preceded also in death by:
Husband: Foster Hardin Rutledge
Two brothers: Marshall and Harold Whittle
Nephew: Terry Emerson
Great-niece: Robin Pastirko
Great-nephew: Steve Whittle
Services: Saturday, 22 May 2004, 1 pm, Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, 
burial Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
