He was born in Middlefork, KY on November 1, 1920 the son of the late Henry and Sarah Brock Saylor. He had been a coal tipple operator and was a logger. He was of the Pentecostal Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Fannie Adams and brothers, A.D., Kale, Lee and John Henry Saylor. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Wilson Saylor of Bledsoe, children, Freda and Arthur Hoskins of Kettle Island, Cecil and Mary Saylor of Bledsoe and Donald and Karen Saylor of Bledsoe, grandchildren, Cecil Wayne Saylor, Troy Lee Saylor, Tina Saylor, Don Hoskins, Mary Ann Saylor and Art Hoskins, six great-grandchildren, sisters, Carrie Wilson and Iva Saylor, brothers, Claude and Denver Saylor. Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Farmer Saylor, Rev. Demus Couch, Rev. Tony Caldwell, Rev. Keith Coldiron, Rev. Kenneth Saylor and Rev. Ted Brock. Music will be by Ted Brock, Lola Brock and Demus Couch. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery at Bledsoe. Pallbearers will be Farmer Saylor, Troy Saylor, Cecil Wayne Saylor, Don Hoskins, Art Hoskins and Chad King. Honorary pallbearer will be Wilkie Saylor. The Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Saylor Family.
