Born Sept. 23, 1924, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Homer and Mary Lee Baker Sebastian. He was a farmer and a retired security guard for Bluegrass Army Depot. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church, a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Disabled American Veterans and American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Gracie Mills Sebastian; three daughters, Elaine C. Curran of Lake Purdys, N.Y., Pamela S. Williams of Danville and Vickie L. Maupin of Paint Lick; a son, Larry A. Sebastian of Lancaster; a sister, Hazel Locker of Paint Lick; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ramsey Funeral Home by the Revs. Billy Pack and Jim Cook. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Hicks, Gary Gaffney, Jackie Hume, Bill Hurt, Hershel Isaacs and Phillip Carrier. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today. Memorials may go to Disabled American Veterans, 51 Meadowbrook Drive, Lancaster; or Good Hope Baptist Church building fund, 1916 Walker Pike, Paint Lick. ______________________________
