Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings Earl Gene "Speedy" Sexton, age 66 of Hardinsburg, Ky. 
died on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his residence.  He was a Baptist at New Salem Baptist Church in Vine Grove, Ky. 
He was an army veteran and a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy and a brother Charles.  
"Speedy" as his family and friends knew him, loved to fish, hunt and ride his four wheeler.
 
He is survived by a son Michael and his wife Tracy of Hardinsburg.  A sister, Fannie Cundiff of Irvington and two brothers, Joe Sexton of Louisville and Donnie Sexton of Irvington. Three grandchildren, Lyndsey, Desiree and Cameron and several nieces and nephews also survive.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, at 1 pm from the chapel of the Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Brother Wayne Rambo officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.
 
Visitation will be from 9:30 am until time for the service.
