John P. SHAW and Jane his wife of the one part to James Mc DONALD of the other 
part all of the County of Spencer and State of Kentucky... for and in 
consideration of the sum of fifty dollars Current money to them in hand paid 
have bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and 
being in the County of Spencer on the waters of Crooked Creek being part of a 
survey pattented to Levi HOLLINGSWORTH for 9000 acres and bounded by PHILIP’s 
line, SMITH’s east corner and MILLER’s Corner in STERLING’s line.

bargain grant sell and convey a certain tract of land Situated lying and being 
in the County of Spencer on the waters of Crooked Creek being part of a Survey 
pattented to Levi HOLLINGSWORTH for 9000 acres and bounded by PHILIPS line... 
to Jacob MILLER’s line... to STERLING’s corner containing by estimation one 
hundred acres be the same more or less.
