Typed in by Maria DeMoss Troutman- Schopp, Germany MARY ETTA SHOCKLEY Mary Etta Shockely, 86, Evansville, died Monday at 9:30am at Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville, She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Shockley in 1969, formerly of Uniontown and a daughter Margie Casey in 1996 of Newburgh, IN. Mrs. Shockley retired in 1972 from St. Mary's Medical Center. She was an active member of the Senior Citizen's Center and enjoyed taking many bus tours. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Faith attending St. Anthony's for 40 years and Holy Redeemer for 17 years. Survivors include five daughters, Dora Long Vernon and Norma Voyles, both of Mt. Vernon, IN., Shelia Adock, Linda Ann Rembusch, and Dorothy Phillips, both of Evansville; four sons, Darrell Hill of Oakland City, IN., Kenneth Shockley of Evansville, Jack Shockely of Waterboro, SC., and Dennis Shockley of Newburgh, IN.; three sisters, Marie Wicks and Agnes Utley and Charlotte O'Daniels, all of Uniontown; three brothers, Bernard Russelburg of Morganfield, James Russelburg of Richland, IN., and Richard Russelburg of Evansville; 34 grandchildren, and 49 great grandchildren.
