MRS. OWEN SHOEMAKER

Mrs. Owen Shoemaker died Tuesday morning at the home of her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. John McCoy, in Stephensport.  Mrs. Shoemaker, when before her marriage was 
Miss Irene McCoy, was taken ill at her home in Joppa, Ill., and about a week 
ago she was brought to Stephensport on a cot, accompanied by her husband and 
her mother, Mrs. McCoy.  Complication of diseases caused her demise.

The funeral will be held today with the Rev. Mr. Coward conducting the 
services.  The interment will be held in the Hill cemetery.

Surviving are the husband, a former resident of Rome, Ind., and the deceased's 
parents.
