Born September 6, 1928 in Harrogate, Tennessee. The son of the late Junas Roy Shoffner and Celia Shoffner Woodby. He was know throughout the aviation world and was an avid pilot as well as being a successful business man. Survived by: loving wife, Eddie Lou; children, John (Jennine) Shoffner, Knoxville, TN, Jamie Lynn (Michael D.) Bowling, Jay (Kelly) Shoffner and Jerry (Farra) Shoffner, all of Middlesboro; daughter-in-law, Kris Shoffner of Emerald Isle, NC; grandchildren, Kendall and Brynn Taylor Shoffner, Ashley, Adam and Blake Bowling, Madison and Mallory Shoffner, Celia and Nick Shoffner; stepfather, Fred Woodby, Harrogate; mother-in-law, Viola Davis, Speedwell, TN; brother-in-law, William Roy Davis, Rockwood, TN; sister-in-law and brother-in- law, Betty and Eddie Chumley, Harrogate; special nieces and nephew; Kim (Tim) Bozeman, Pamela Ann (Robert) Burnett and Greg Chumley all of Franklin, TN; aunts, Mary Francis (Don) Dunn, Rock Hall, MD, Maureen Shoffner, Harrogate and Maggie Shifley Sherrill of Rose Hill, VA; devoted friend, Zelda (Anthony) Robbins, Middlesboro; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Monday evening at the First Baptist Church in Middlesboro. Funeral services will be at 11 am Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Middlesboro with Rev. Stephen Earle officiating. Interment will follow in the Shoffner Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Bill Davis, Robert Burnett, Tim Bozeman, Greg Chumley, Bob Cardin, Adam Bowling, Blake Bowling, Darrell Hale, WeeGee Smith and Toby Hall. Memorial suggested to: J.
