From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 28 Apr 2003 HARRODSBURG -- Harley K. Simpson, 74, of Parsons Lane died Saturday at James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born Jan. 6, 1929, in Washington County, he was the son of the late Arnold and Ann Lou Wilburn Simpson. He was a retired farm laborer and belonged to Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Jodie, Roy, Mark and Ricky Simpson, all of Harrodsburg; a daughter, Judy Rimer of Raywick; a sister, Mary Yeaste of Cornishville; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by the Rev. Richard Easterling. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Tuesday. ______________________________
