Simpson.O.E.1978.Scott.ANNIV GOLDEN WEDDING The children and grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Simpson will honor them at an open house and reception to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The open house will be held at the First Baptist Church, 468 W. Main Street, San Jacinto, Calif., on April 8. Mr. and Mrs. Simpson are natives of Midway and still have families and a host of friends in the area. They were married in Georgetown on April 11, 1928. They have been in California since September 1961, but have visited "home" frequently. They are now managing Leisure Homes Mobile Home Park in Barstow. They are the parents of two sons, Emmitt and Joseph, and both they and their families are residents of California. The Simpsons have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
