                It is with sadness we note the number of deaths we have
recently experienced in one week, as four funerals were conducted at
Grapevine in less than one short week and were as follows: On October 23 Mr.
J. W. Poulter, an aged and respected citizen of Mayo, was tenderly born away
 on the 25th the little eleven-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W.
Adkison, of Cornishville, October 28th Mrs. S. G. Sims, of Danville, and on
the 29th, Grace the sweet little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Britton, of
Harrodsburg, was tenderly laid among the silent sleepers in Grapevine
cemetery to await the resurrection morn. All the bereaved have the sincere
sympathy of this community in their sad affliction.
