She was born in Stoney Fork on May 11, 1915, a daughter of the late Carlo “Buddy” and Edna Jones Helton. She was a very active member of Calvery Chapel Pentecostal Church. She had worked at Sizemore Grocery Store at Stoney Fork for many years and was a member of the Stoney Fork Homemaker Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Sizemore, children, Pearl, Roy and Arville Sizemore; grandson Eddie Dwayne Johnson; brothers and sisters, Elcie Helton, Rachel Helton, Riva Wix, Logan Helton, Jonas Helton, Junior Helton and Bob Helton. Survivors include her children, Della Mae and Robert Fuquay of Indianapolis, IN and Nelson and Judy Sizemore of Stoney Fork; seventeen grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Jessie Helton, Elva Helton, John Helton, Wayland Helton, Sylvia Collins and Wanda Belcher and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services were Tuesday at the Calvery Chapel Pentecostal Church with Rev. Wayne Grace and Rev. Thea O. Carter. Music was by Lucy Smith and Friends. Burial was in the Meadow Branch Cemetery at Stoney Fork. Pallbearers were Shirl Johnson, Jr., Tony Johnson, Darrell Johnson, Scott Sizemore, Brian Sizemore, Bruce Sizemore, Chuck Sizemore, David Sizemore and Michael Sizemore.
