Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 28 Jan 1875.
"Hiseville, Ky., Jan. 22., 1875. Mr. Editor. Mr. Green Slinker died yesterday, 
and will be buried today in honors of masonry. He was an excellent citizen, 
than whom there is no better. He was a consistent church member, a kind and 
affectionate husband and father, a good neighbor, an industrious farmer, a 
good mason, and everything that tends to make an honest clever man. The 
bereaved family have our sincere sympathy."
