Magoffin County KyArchives Obituaries 
The Salyersville Independent , June 3, 2004 edition 
Robert Lee Slusher, 65, a resident of Salyersville, passed 
away May 28, 2004 at his residence. 
Mr. Slusher was born to the late Edgar "Bud" and Reva Penix 
Slusher on July 16, 1943 in Salyersville. Mr. Slusher was a 
member at the Philadelphia Tabernacle Church and was a 
retired Continental Conveyor worker. 
Suvivors include his wife, Grace M. "Sue" Pettit Slusher; 
one daughter, Shona R. Bentley of Salyersville; two brothers, 
Charles E. Slusher of Cardington, Ohio and Donald E. Slusher 
of Salyersville; two grandsons, Brandon Napier and Dustin 
Bradley. 
Including his parents, Mr. Slusher was prceeded in death by 
one brother, Jimmy Wayne Slusher. 
Funeral services were conducted May 31, 2004 at the Magoffin 
County Funeral Home with Willard Holliday and Vince Caldwell 
officiating. Burial followed at the Elsie Conley Cemetery, Salyersville. 
Arrangements were in care of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
