Services for Mrs. Kate Smiser, 80 East Pike St. , who died at 8:15 am at
Harrison Memorial Hospital after an illness of three weeks were held
Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Whaley Funeral Home by the Rev Ben H. Moore.  Mrs
Smiser was born August 24, 1880 in Cynthiana and was a member of the
Cynthiana Christian Church.  She was a daughter of the late Benjamin
Franklin and Honora Isabelle Shannon Whaley.  She was  the widow of Dr. H.
Tod Smiser Sr.  She is survived by a daughter Mrs.  G. S. Butler, a son r.
H. Tod Smiser, two  grandchildren, MissesAnn and Louise Smiser, all of
Cynthiana.
