Anna Sue Jackson Smith, age 94 of Hardinsburg, KY died Tuesday, 3-20-2007 at 
Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Hancock County, KY on 
12-25- 1912, the daughter of Ben and Nettie Newton Jackson. She was a member of St. 
Rose Catholic Church and Mattingly homemakers. She was a housewife.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband John A. Smith, a son John W Smith, 
a daughter Illene Smith, a sister Stella Crowe and a brother Oscar Jackson
 
She is survived by a daughter - Patty Sturgeon of Owensboro, KY a son & daughter-in-
law: Mike and Susan Smith of Hardinsburg, KY
3 grandchildren: David Sturgeon - Owensboro, KY
    Mickey(Annette) Smith and Steve(Jolena) Smith of Hardinsburg, KY
7 great grandchildren: David Jr,Sara,Taylor,Autumn,Michael,Patrick,Steven
5 great great grandchildren
a sister - Delphia House of Owensboro, KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 3-23-2007 at 11:00 AM at St. Rose Catholic 
Church in Cloverport, KY with Fr. Tony Stevenson and Fr. Greg Trawick officiating. 
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home  on Thursday from 3:30 - 8:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 7 PM.
 
Memorial contributions are requested to: Calvary Cemetery or St. Rose Cemetery.
