Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings Gladys Richards Smith, age 82 of Hardinsburg died Thursday at Breckinridge Health Inc. She was born in Breckinridge County to the late Floyd and Mayme Rogers Richards.  She was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and gardening.

Gladys is survived by her husband Jeremiah "J.C." Smith and a brother Herbert Richards of Hardinsburg and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, at 11:00 a.m. at the New Bethel Baptist Church with the Reverend Bob White officiating.  Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. cdt on Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. cdt on Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the New Bethel Baptist Church.
