WAYNESBURG -- Euphemia Mae Smith, 76, of Eubank died Monday at Britthaven 
nursing home in Somerset. Born Aug. 19, 1926, in Lincoln County, she was the 
daughter of the late Rufus D. and Nettie Barnett Stonecypher. She was a 
bookkeeper and secretary, a member of the Baptist church and the widow of Jim 
Smith. Survivors include two aunts, Blanche White of Waynesburg and Katherine 
May of Eubank; and a guardian, Sue Hubble of Eubank. Services will be 11 a.m. 
Wednesday at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home by Vola Brown. Visitation will be 
10-11 a.m. Wednesday. Memorials may go to Double Springs Baptist Church.
