HOMER JUNIOR SMITH

	Homer Junior Smith, 59, of Pineville, passed away on Friday, November 
12, 2004 at the Pineville Community Hospital.  He was born on October 22, 1945 
in Wallsend to Victor and Jean Mason Smith.  He was of the Holiness faith and 
had been a grave digger.
	In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister and 
brothers, Rosemary Moore, Rod and Benny Smith.
	Survivors include his children, Michael and Elizabeth Smith, Craig and 
Melissa Smith and Danny Smith; grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Smith, Whitney Lynn 
Smith, Joshua Dakota Smith, Ethan Craig Smith and Maggie Abigail Smith; 
brothers and sisters, David Smith, Billy Smith, Barbara Helton, Virginia 
Middleton and Penny Hoskins; special friend, Krystal Caudill and a host of 
nieces, nephews and friends.
	Services were Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. 
Rick Johnson and Rev. Arthur Jackson.  Music will be by Edith Griffith.  
Burial was in the Wallsend Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Phillip Helton, Larry 
Middleton, Terry Carnes, David Smith, Billy Smith, Ricky Johnson, Patrick 
Helton and Johnny Brummett.
	Memorial donations are suggested at assist with funeral expenses.  
Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was in charge of arrangements.
