Trent-Dowell Funeral Home Obituary Listings Larry Joe Smith, age 60 of Hardinsburg,Ky died Saturday, 4-5-2008 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown,KY. He was born in Louisville,KY on 6-14-1947, the son of the late Rodney and Vina Davis Smith. He was a minister of the Pentecostal faith and a painter.
 
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister: Ricky and Regina Smith
 
Larry is survived by his wife - Linda Smith of Hardinsburg,KY
2 daughters; Alice Smith and Crystal Dunn of Peoria,IL
1 step daughter - Tammy Turpin of Hardinsburg,KY
4 sons: Larry "Buddy" Smith of Hardinsburg,KY Tony and Eddie Smith of Short Creek,KY Mark Smith of Leitchfield,KY
7 grandchildren: Melissa and Jesse Butler Jaidan and Braydan Smith Kendall and Cody Helm Kaidan Dunn
3 sisters: Judy White and Marlene Miceli of Louisville,KY Brenda Tackett of Pileville,KY
2 brothers: David Smith of McDaniels,KY
Mike Smith of Louisville,KY
 
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 4-8-2008 at 1PM at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with Sister Janet Flood and Brother Ernie Vincent officiating. Burial will be in the Madrid Cemetery.
Visitation on Monday from 3:30 - 8:00PM and after 8;30AM Tuesday.
