Noble Smith, 73, Morganfield, died Friday at 12:55pm at his residence.

Mr. Smith was a member of First Baptist Church in Morganfield.

Survivors include his wife, Violet Smith; two sons, David Smith of
Morganfield and Mark Smith of Franklin, TN; three sisters, Wilma Lappin of
CA, Phyllis Emery of Mt. Vernon, IL. and Betty Nixon of Greeley, Co; seven
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Services were at 2:30pm Monday at First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark
Galloway officiating. Burial was in White County Memorial Gardens in Carmi, IL.
