"THE DEATH OF MRS. SALLIE SMITH LAST TUESDAY. Mrs. Sallie Smith died at her home near town last Tuesday afternoon, death being due to cancer of the stomach. "Surviving are her husband, Mr. David Smith, one of the county's best men and citizens; one brother, Mr. Billy Hill, and three sisters, Mrs. B. Berry of this county; Mrs. J. W. Anderson and Mrs. C. Hamel, of Louisville, and one half brother, Mr. Ed Hill, Kansas. The surviving children are: Mrs. W. E. Hartnitt, of Wilson, Okla; Mrs. W. Redford, Slick Rock; Mrs. W. Mansfield, Mrs. R. F or P. Parker and Miss R. Smith, all of Glasgow, and Mrs. Milburn Mayfield, of near town. "Interment was in the Glasgow Cemetery after funeral services by Rev. Wimberly. "Mrs. Smith was a most excellent and estimable lady and had many friends all over the county. She as a devout member of the Methodist church and was beloved by all.
