Smith, Margarette Martin, William R. C. Smith. Will of William R. Smith I, William R. Smith of the County of Greenup and State of KY., being of sound and perfect mind and memory do make and publish this last will and testament in manner and form following to-wit: It is my will and desire that as soon as practicable after my decease my Just, debts be paid and I bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Smith as her dower the following tract of land know as my home farm: Beginning at the lower end of my survey in the lot line of the first brance of the hill in the forks of Leatherwood; then with said lot line to the corner of the oil company on the upper side of Leatherwood; thence with said oil companys line to the upper corner; thence a straight line to George W. Smith and myself; thence with Geo. W. Smiths line croping the creek to the next corner of Geo. W. Smith and myself 40 rods from the center of the Leatherwood bottom at the widest place in said line; thence a straight line to the place of beginning. I bequeath to my son Samuel A. Smith the interest I have in the farm on which he now lives. I bequeath to John M. Smith 50 actes of land on the Leatherwood side of the tract of land he formerally lived on and the other fifty acres of said tract lying next to three prong I bequeath to my daughter Nancy Logan bequeath to my daughter Matilda Butram the following tract of land; Beginning at the falling rock thence a N. E. Course with the Oil Companys line to the corner thence with the aforesaid dower line to the corner of Geo. W. Smith and myself; thence with Geo. W. Smiths line to where said line cropes the second drain; thence up said drain to the head of the right hand fork thereof; thence a straight line to where my land cropes the ridge; thence a straight line to the falling rock to the place of beginning. I bequeath to my daughter Eveline Jameson all of the remainder said tract of land lying on the upper end and adjoining the part set apart to Malinda Butrum. I bequeath to my daughter, Sarah Frazee fifty acres of land known as the Perry Smith survey lying on the divide between Leatherwood and Three Prong at head of the barn branch. I bequeath to James T. Smith my son 50 acres of land adjoining the above named tract know as the Jeff Smith survey. I bequeath to my daughter Margarette Martin the following boundary of land: Beginning at a sycamore Malinda Vandagriffs upper corner on the right hand fork of Leatherwood in the mouth of the left hand branch that centers into said creek thence up said branch to the forks; thence up the left hand fork a straight line to the top of the hill thence S. with the bench of the hill facing the left hand fork of Leatherwood to the Dower line; thence with the dower line to the lot line thence with the lot line to the beginning. I, bequeath to my son Wm. R. C. Smith als the unappreciated tract of land known as the Alison tract adjoining on the above tract. And it is my will that immediately after my death that so much of my personal estate be sold as will pay my funeral expenses and all my just debts and the remainder of my personal estate if any I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Smith and I herby constitute and appoint Marshal Baker to carry this my last will and testament in the effect given under my hand an seal this 20th, day of June 1882.
