"Mrs. Betty Owsley Snoddy, widow of S. George Snoddy, died age 85. Daughter of Dr. W. T. and Emma 
(Parnham) Owsley) born Nov. 23, 1853 in Sadiersville, Tenn. 
Daughters: Hallie of Glasgow; Mrs. Tom Hatchett of Bearwallow section. Sons: 
Arnon Snoddy of Cincinnati; Hawkins of Glasgow; Owsley Snoddy, who is principal of schools in Franklin, 
Ky. Sisters: Jennie Owsley of Glasgow; Mrs. Arnon Laney of Vista, Colo. Interred in Glasgow cemetery."
