He moved to Nebraska with his family in 1880 and has lived in the vicinity of Dawson ever since. He was a hard working man up to about twelve years ago when he has been crippled so as to being unable to do anything and has suffered much pain. Three sons Charley, John and Garl of Dawson, four daughters; Mrs. Florence Mitchell of Blue Springs, Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell of Humboldt, Mesdames Edith Welch and Flora Hinks of Dawson, one brother, Marshall of Dawson and four sisters; Mrs. George Stiles of Dawson, Mrs. Francis Fortner of Falls City, Mrs. J.F. Heater of Adams and Mrs. I. F. Dunn of Formosa, Kans. survive him. His wife having passed away only week before.
