OBIT: Stagner, James W., 1990, Hopkins Co FUNERAL WILL BE HELD TODAY FOR JAMES W. STAGNER, 74 The funeral for James W. Stagner, 74, 4260 Charleston Road, will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at Beshear Funeral Home. The Rev. Jessie Gibson will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Ottie Clayton. Burial will be in Dunn Cemetary. Visitation for friends was held Wednesday night, April 4, from 5:00 to 9:00 at the funeral home. Stagner died Tuesday, April 3, at 5 a.m. at his home. He was born Oct. 12, 1915, in Tennessee, son of the late Lawrence and Rhoda Armstrong Stagner. He as a retired automobile mechanic and a member of the Fraternal Order of Moose and the Beulah Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Lena Farar Stagner of Dawson Springs; a son, James W. Stagner Jr., Vernon Hills, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Rimkus, Darien, Ill.; a brother, Lacy Stagner, Hopkinsville, and three grandchildren.
