Clarence William Steele, 67, of Paris Route 2 died December 22 at his home 
after a long illness. He was a retired mechanic and farmer.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Jewell Partin Steele,three sons, Kenneth Steele, 
Middletown, Ohio; Billy and Clarence Steele, at home; four daughters, Mrs.
Aileen steele, Middletown ,Ohio; Miss Judy Steele, Dayton, Ohio; Misses 
Coleen and Cathy Steele at home ,a brother Levi Steele, Dayton, Ohio, and 
a sister, Mrs. Nancy Todd, Dayton, Ohio.

Services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Eastin-Richey Funeral 
Home by the Rev. Arthur Chandler. Bearers were Jimmy Thomas, Sr., Jimmy 
Thomas, Jr., Billy E. Reed, Billy K. Todd, and Paul Patrick. Honorary 
bearers will be Bush Reed, Earl Reed, C. E. Hudson, Henry Fletcher, George 
Arnold, and Woodford Taul.

Burial was in Machpelah Cemetery.
