D. W. Steele Dies at Lexington Wed.

  DeWitt Steele, 59 years old, formerly of Bath county, died at a Lexington hospital Wednesday afternoon, October 13, after a brief illness of blood poisoning.
  Mr. Steele was a native of Bath county and a son of the late Clark and Ellen Daugherty Steele, born Feb. 27, 1884. Surviving him are three sons, Billie and Jackie Steele, Lexington and Allen Steele, Owingsville; four daughters, Mrs Walter Hon and Mrs. W.O. Dragoo, Montgomery county; Mrs. Homer Hon, Lexington, and Mrs. Henry Coyle, Bath county; two brothers, William Steele, Bourbon county, and Curran Steele, Bath county.
  Funeral services will be held at the Shrout, Piper and Shrout funeral home Friday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. George C. Frey. Interment will be in Crown Hill cemetery, Sharpsburg. Pallbearers will be Ike Snedegar, Mark Trumbo, James Coyle, Willie Coyle, R.S. Anderson, Frank Dragoo, Bryan Butcher and Carl Clark.
