Mrs. Blanche Steen, 88,  of 624 Power St. died at 2:15 PM  Sunday at a Bowling 
Green Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

The Metcalfe Native was  a retired nurse for Union Underwear Co.,  and a member 
of  Cumberland Presbyterian  Church in Knob Lick.

Funeral will be at 2 PM Tuesday at Heady-Johnson-Vaughn funeral home with 
burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation  was  scheduled to begin at 2 PM today.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Murphy of Bowling green; three 
sons, Paul and James Bobby  Steen, both of Bowling Green, and Dr. Jack Steen of 
Tallahassee, Fla.; 11 grandchildren , and five great -grandchildren.
