Wm Stephens’heirs  deed to Jesse Neal

This deed of conveyance made and entered into this the 22 day of April 1891 between the 
heirs of William Stephens deceased party of the first part and Jep 
Neal party of the second part   the said party of the first party being Martha 
Stephens and James Cornealions and Deliah Cornealions + B. F. Stephens and Mahala A. Stephens 
+ A. J. Hays and Susannah Hays and James Stephens + Mary Stephens + Mark Duncan and Susannah 
Duncan + J. M. Meadors and Manda Meadors + James Stevens and Emarine Stephens witnesseth that 
the said part of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of $181 one hundred and 
fifty of in hand paid the receipt of whereof acknowledged Doth hereby sell and convey to the 
party of the second part the following described property.
	A certain tract of land in Whitley Co, State of Kentucky on the waters of Marsh Creek 
ajoining the old home form of said wm Stephens and bound as following  to wit:  Beginning on 
a white oak and small dogwood a former 100 survey of said Stephens then ….Andrew Hays line to 
a conditional line between James Stephen and Jess Neal …  being a conditional corner then to 
Thomas Moore’s line… then to a corner of Jane Stephens survey  …. to the beginning

Additional Comments:
Martha is probably the widow of William Stephens.  We do not have a death date 
for Martha "Patsy" Stephens.   There was a granddaughter Martha Stephens but 
she probably would not have been listed first.
