Unknown newspaper, hand dated Apr 20, 1976
   William W. Stephens, 90, of New Castle, Ind., died Wednesday, April 14.
   He was born March 19, 1886, at Marsh Creek, the son of William Wesley 
Stephens and Isabel Davis Stephens.  He was a retired railroad worker for the 
Kentucky-Tennessee Railroad.
   Survivors include two sons, William H. and Orville R. Stephens, New Castle; 
four daughters, Mrs. Velma Pierce and Mrs. James (Arlene) Goldy of New Castle, 
Mrs. Virgil (Ethel) McCartt, Chesterfield, Ind., and Mrs. Henry (Wilma) 
Davidson, Jr.; three sisters, Mrs. Osa Alexander, Mrs. Masey Bowman and Mrs. 
Ida Stanley, all of Stearns; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
   Services were held at the Macer Funeral Home, New Castle, April 16.  Burial 
was in the Southmound Cemetery.
