In the name of God Amen.  I William Stevens of Ohio County and State of 
Kentucky being low in health but sound in mind do make and ordain this to be my 
last Will and Testament as follows towit.
First I wish all my just debts to be paid and the balance of my property to be 
divided in the following manner towit and first I give and bequeath unto my 
dear and beloving wife Nancy Stevens the plantation on which I now live during 
her natural life and that she have the third part of my personal property for 
the same time.  Secondly my will is that the ballance of my personal property 
be equally divided between my children Anny Bozel, William Stevens, Nathaniel 
Stevens, and Thomas Stevens and that what property Anny Bozel has received be 
taken into the amount of her part and Thirdly it is my will and desire that 
after the death of my wife Nancy Stevens that my land be equally divided 
between my three sons William, Nathaniel and Thomas Stevens and Fourthly I do 
hereby appoint my wife Nancy Stevens and my brother John G. Stevens to be my 
Executors to carry into effect ("into effect" is crossed out) this my last Will 
and Testament into effect given under my hand this Thirty-First day of March 
1826.

At a County Court holden for Ohio County on the Fourth day of May 1826 the 
within will was exhibited in Court and proved by two witnesses to be the (?) a 
true will of William Stevens deceased and ordered to be recorded.
