STIFF, age 20, of Union Star (Breckinridge County), Ky., was one of three persons fatally injured in a three car collision on KY 1368 near Muldraugh (Meade County), Ky., about 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. Others dead are Miss Carol Ann HAIRE age about 15 of Vine Grove (Hardin County), Ky., and Private Carl Albert RESCH, age 22, of Fort Knox. STIFF and Miss HAIRE died while being taken to Ireland General Hospital at Fort Knox, Ky. Pvt. RESCH died there (at the hospital) at 10:05 p.m. State Trooper Ralph ROSS said RESCH was driving west on Muldraugh Road towards Brandenburg Station (Meade County), Ky. about 7/10's of a mile west of Muldraugh when his car hit STIFF'S car head on. A third Car in which four residents of Louisville (Jefferson County), Ky. were riding, then struck the rear of STIFF'S car. One of the four, Mrs. Nita MEEKS, age 27, of 1501 South Third Street (Louisville), Ky. was treated at Ireland Hospital for leg and possible internal injuries. She was later transferred to Jewish Hospital (in Louisville), Ky. RESCH was alone in his car. Miss HAIRE was riding in STIFF'S car. Funeral services for Miss HAIRE and Mr. STIFF were held on Tuesday at Kingdom Hall Church in Irvington (Breckinridge County), Ky. Burial for Miss HAIRE was in Garnettsville Cemetery (Meade County), Ky., and for Mr. STIFF in Bruner Cemetery at Union Star. Miss Carol Ann HAIRE is survived by: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee HAIRE, Sr., Vine Grove, Ky. her sisters: Mrs. Barbara RIGGS (no residence given) Janet Sue HAIRE her brothers: Clifford Jaye HAIRE Robert Lee HAIRE, Jr. Russell Allen STIFF is survived by: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.
