I William Stiff of Breckinridge County State of Kentucky being in my right mind make my last will and testament as follows to wit: I bequeath to my wife Sarah Stiff the whole of my estate during her natural life or widowhood. And at the close of the said Sarah Stiff's natural life or widowhood I wish and desire the said estate to be equally divided among my children taking into consideration what they have heretofore received of me [.] Given under my hand the 19th day of November 1837.
